My new friends over at A Sense Of Humor sent me a big box of stuff. Really, really good stuff. After obsessing about it for a couple of days, I have picked one - (what? WHAT? Ugh. Virginia tells me I'm being greedy) - two - (shit, what now? Blah, blah, blah, set a good example, Mom) - okay, THREE, THREE, ARE YOU HAPPY NOW, YOU LITTLE TREE HUGGER?

Hi, everyone. I'm shaking like a heroin junkie because I just finished a fun-filled 48 hours of puking and IV bags and everything not nailed down coming out one end or the other.
I didn't drink the water in Mexico, but I had some sort of evil virus that wanted to kill me. I'M ALIVE, VIRUS. ALIVE. Bastard.

Abstract
"Mommy, I drew you a picture," Virginia said.
"Oooh, gimme."
"What do you see?"
"Umm. That's me? Right? Big head?"
"Yes!"
"Annnnd....that's Devon, with a game controller in his hand. You with a book."
"Yes! Good, Mommy! What else?"
"That's...is that Chris?"
She looked at me like I was stupid. "No, silly. That's Harmony. In this picture, Chris is outside mowing the lawn because he doesn't want you to get all yelly."
"Why is she bigger than everyone else?"
"She just is."
"She looks like Shrek. And what is all that brown stuff under her?"
"Poop."
I looked at her, eyebrow cocked.
"What?" she asked. "She poops a lot."
"Oh. Ok. Wait a minute...why don't I have any lips? You have lips. Devon has lips."
"My picture, Mommy. My world."
"But I want lips," I whined.
She snatched the picture out of my hand with a harrumph of disgust. "Perspective, Mom. It's all about perspective."
